Mississauga: Brueckner Rhododendron Gardens

I stumbled across this little gem of a park quite by accident.

On the shores of Lake Ontario in Port Credit (Mississauga), Brueckner Rhododendron Gardens (formerly Cranberry Cove Park) is where the Tecumseh Creek empties into Lake Ontario.

It’s a small park (only 7.19 hectares, or 18 acres), but it’s beautifully planted with numerous rhododendron and azalea. Go during late spring and all through summer to catch the flowers in bloom.

On a clear day you can see across the lake to St. Catherines.
